
Cynthia “Cindy” Lynn Watkins, 57 of Hominy, passed away on September 4, 2021, in Tulsa Oklahoma.
Cindy was born on November 4, 1963, at Ellsworth Airforce Base in Rapid City South Dakota to Lyle and Joan Ballard of Hominy Oklahoma. She graduated from Hominy High School in 1982 and continued her education at Oklahoma University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Cindy spent the next few decades serving countless families and patients in several hospitals throughout Oklahoma.
Cindy loved family, reading, music, motorcycle riding, and keeping track of the royal family.
Cindy is survived by her parents, Lyle and Joan Ballard, 3 children and their spouses; Toby and Cassie Watkins, Ashlyn and Casen Largent, and Brandon and Lacie Watkins, 2 granddaughters; Alexis and Lyla Watkins, 2 siblings and their spouses; Bryan and Sandy Ballard, and Sheila and Rodney Cox, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and friends.
Cindy is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Tina Jo and Tracy Dawn Ballard.
A private celebration of life will take place on September 17th at a family cemetery in Nowata, Oklahoma.

I am so sorry to hear about Cindy, he was a close freind of mine in High school, and we lost track of each other, her family gave me my first “surprise” baby shower, it wqs most beautiful, I am o sorry for your loss, and your family is in my prayers and send my love, I missed Cindy, and she was loved, I will remember her the rest of my life, This is most shocking to mw, and i am heartbroken.
