
Linda (Kay) Guinn, age 75, passed away March 9, 2019. Linda Kay was born on 02/21/1944 in Wilburton, Oklahoma, to John W. (Jack) Larmour and Ruby Nell Bohannon. Kay graduated from Tahlequah High School in 1961. She attended Northeastern State University for two years. She was a licensed cosmetologist and was a hair dresser before getting married. She married her high school sweetheart, Benny Guinn, on January 18, 1965. Kay was a stay home mom for much of her three childrens’ school careers. She was everything from a homeroom mom to a soccer and basketball coach. Her career outside the home was mainly in retail where she excelled at customer service. Kay was a fantastic cook and collected cookbooks and recipes. Her family was her world, and she made sure every accomplishment was celebrated with good food and family gatherings.
Kay was preceded in death by her parents and her two older brothers.
Kay is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Benny Guinn and their daughter Gala Freisberg and her husband Steve, son Ben and his wife Kelli, and youngest son William Jay and his wife Sherri. She leaves behind three grandsons, Seth Freisberg, Caleb Freisberg and Jared Guinn, one step-grandson, Stephen Freisberg and his wife Maureen, three granddaughters: Ashley Hellein and her husband, Adam; Sydney Gage and her husband, Nathan; and Haley Guinn; one great granddaughter, Emma Gage.

Grandma, you were the best woman I’ve ever met! You meant the absolute world to me. I will never forget the memories we shared. You always took care of me. Made sure my stomach was full and helped turn me into the woman I am today! You taught me how to bake and Cook! and you also taught me how to be strong! I cannot thank you enough for all you have done for me over the years! I miss you so much it’s unreal! I know that you are happy and healed! I also know I have a guardian angel who will now always watch over me and my family! I can’t wait to see you again grandma but for now guide me and my family!
