
Stephen Freisberg, age 56, passed away on May 5, 2019. He worked as an Assistant Manager of Drug Warehouse and Mays Pharmacy for over ten years prior to becoming disabled from gastroparesis.
Stephen was born on 04/25/1963 in Coffeyville, KS to Frederick Freisberg and Delores Freisberg. Steve graduated from Lawrence HighSchool in Lawrence, KS. He married Denise Lotton, and they had one child together, Stephen Robert Freisberg. They lived in Kansas and Oregon. After their divorce, Steve moved to be with his family in Oklahoma.where he met Gala Guinn. They married July, 2001 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. They made their home in Broken Arrow, OK. Their first son, Seth, was born in June the following year and Caleb was born in September 2006. Besides being a devoted family man, Steve loved music, sports, animals (especially the family cat, Shelby) and nature. He was an avid Oregon Ducks, Colorado Avalanche, Kansas City Royals, and Oklahoma City Thunder Fan. Steve was a warrior in the fight for a cure for gastroparesis and bringing awareness to the disease.
He is survived by his wife of the home, Gala Freisberg and his children: Stephen and his wife Maureen Freisberg of Massachusetts; Seth Freisberg and Caleb Freisberg. His mother, Delores Freisberg and siblings: Debra Steele, Paula (Mike) Ellis, and Michael (Jill) Freisberg and nieces and nephews all of Kansas. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Frederick Freisberg.
